Karma is located in the fashionable and popular area of Chiswick, and is the latest venture by the Woodlands Group of restaurants who have been serving some of the best Indian food in London since 1981.
Karma is an informal restaurant with a funky vibe which is reflected in the décor of vibrant red wallpaper,lemon walls and red glass lighting. The focus at Karma is on fresh, healthy good quality food and value for money. The average spend for a 3 course meal is only £15 per head.
The menu features some classic Indian dishes from the Tandoor oven such as Malaia kebab and Lasooni jhinga. . The South Indian influence is reflected by dosas and uthapamms, these are healthy Indian versions of the crepe and pizza. The Thali is very much like meze, with vegetable and lentil dishes in small portions served with your selection of main course giving you a balanced meal as served in Indian homes.
Traditional favourites are also available from the tandoor with the chefs focus being on unique spice blends that tantalise the palate. All the delicious homemade curries are served with basmati rice on the side. There is also a very good vegetarian selection.
